DUNLAING EYRE

After over 3 years of development, we are proud to present the first of the Dunlaing watch collections: Eyre.

 

Our first timepiece is named after the square in the centre of Galway city. This timepiece encapsulates our core 3 design concepts; extreme legibility, resiliency to a variety of environments, and a worldliness character.  

 

Using only high-end movements, we were able to design a thin watch, without sacrificing any elements of the Eyre's distinguished shape. The slim and light design leads to a watch that is incredibly easy to wear. There was only one movement befitting for the Eyre, the Miyota 9039. This automatic movement is incredibly accurate and reliable, adhering to our core design concepts entirely.

 

We robustly test all of our watches, to ensure that they align to our values. The Eyre has been configured with no date window, as it was shown to lead to reduced legibility. As a result, the Eyre watch collection does not use movements with a date wheel, to avoid issues that usually occur with ghost date complications.
